The new 4D GUIDANCE SYSTEM™ is Asics’ innovative new take on stabilizing the foot. It incorporates midsole geometry and design features including a lateral decoupling groove, medial convex geometry, a newly designed lateral guidance line and new midfoot foam that provides comfort for the fatiguing foot.

The new PureGEL™ technology is strategically positioned below the heel for increased shock attenuation and a smoother ride. It's 65% softer than conventional visible GEL™ technology, allowing your distance training to feel surprisingly smooth.

Pronation: Pronation (rolling inwards) is your foots response to impact with the ground. Pronation can become an issue when your foot over-rolls inwards (over-pronation). The Kayano 30 is designed to help stop your feet from over-pronating upon impact with the ground.
