Lastly, the outsole is more durable, with a traction pattern that's been re-engineered with strategically placed lugs under the heel.

FEATURES

INTERNAL HEEL COUNTER: The internal plastic structure of the shoe which wraps around the heel of your foot. It holds the heel in position during the movements of running improving support.

GEL – REARFOOT: Shock absorbing material placed in rearfoot of shoe. Shape of units designed for special function under the heel of the foot.

AMPLIFOAM MIDSOLE: ASICS proprietary EVA midsole material for soft cushioning at a lower density.

AHAR RUBBER SPONGE OUTSOLE: Acronym for ASICS High Abrasion Rubber. Placed in critical areas of the outsole for exceptional durability.

FULL GROUND CONTACT: A stable and cushioned platform

TRAIL SPECIFIC OUTSOLE: Reversed lugs provide uphill and downhill traction on all types of terrain.

MEDIAL OUTSOLE WRAPPING: Provides the shoe with a durable medial side generally for toe drag issues.

PRONATION: Pronation is part of the natural movement of the human body and refers to the way your foot rolls inward for impact distribution upon landing. The Pre School Venture is made for those whose feet impact with the ground neutrally.
